According to the Summer 2026 Travel Search Trends Report published by Cốc Cốc on the afternoon of July 24th, Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) was the most searched domestic destination by users during the period from May 1st to July 20th.
Following Ha Long Bay are Phu Quoc (An Giang), Da Lat (Lam Dong), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Quan Lan (Quang Ninh), Cat Ba (Hai Phong), and Phu Quy Island (Lam Dong). Hue, Quy Nhon (Gia Lai), and Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh) also made it into the top 10.
This list shows that beaches and islands continue to be a major attraction during the summer . However, the inclusion of Da Lat, Hue, and Ba Den Mountain also reflects the increasingly diverse travel needs, ranging from beach resorts to nature and cultural exploration and short trips.
Over the past two months, Cốc Cốc recorded approximately 638,000 searches related to travel. Among the top 1,000 most popular keywords, three groups – travel, domestic destinations, and accommodation – accounted for 93.8% of the total search volume.
Of these, keywords related to travel led with a share of 47.9%, followed by domestic destinations with 25.8% and accommodation with 20.1%.

The most searched keywords mainly revolve around airlines, online travel booking platforms, and passenger transport businesses. Vietjet, Agoda, flight tickets, Traveloka, Booking, and Vietnam Airlines are among the leading keywords.
Phuong Trang, Vexere, and the keyword "hotel" also made it into the top 10, indicating that users often search for transportation, accommodation, and services simultaneously before traveling.
Besides the overall level of interest, Cốc Cốc data also shows that many destinations recorded a significant increase in search volume compared to the same period in 2025. Ha Giang (Tuyen Quang) led with a 220% increase, Quang Binh (now Quang Tri) increased by 104%, and Phu Yen (Dak Lak) increased by 100%.
Can Tho and Thai Binh (now Hung Yen province) saw increases of 47% and 45% respectively. Destinations including Thien Cam (Ha Tinh), Quang Tri, Phu Quoc (An Giang), Dong Do Lake (Hanoi), and Van Don (Quang Ninh) increased by 24-36%.
Data from Cốc Cốc's flight search feature recorded approximately 246,000 searches, a 57% increase compared to the same period last year.
The Can Tho - Hai Phong route saw the strongest increase, reaching 2,800%. The keywords "travel to Thailand" and "Hanoi - Quy Nhon" increased by 2,138% and 1,169% respectively.

In the accommodation sector, Muong Thanh, Vinpearl, Flamingo, FLC, Amanoi, and Centara are among the most searched-for brands.
Keywords showing significant growth were primarily associated with Da Nang, Ha Long, Quang Ninh, Cua Lo, and Phu Quoc. Among these, "Da Nang hotel booking" saw a 629% increase.
The terms “Saigon Ha Long Hotel”, “Sa Pa Hotel”, and “Phu Quoc Hotel” increased by 317%, 300%, and 205%, respectively.
In the top 10 most visited travel websites, five positions are occupied by Traveloka, Mytour, Agoda, Booking, and Klook. Vietnam Airlines ranks second, while Vexere and Vietjet Air are ranked sixth and seventh, respectively.
Tripadvisor also made the list, showing that users not only look for places to book services but also actively check reviews about destinations and the quality of the experience before making a decision.
Besides longer trips, many day-trip or weekend entertainment options are also popular. Suoi Tien, Ho Tay Water Park, aquariums in Hanoi, and several local water parks are among the trending keywords.
